Product Manager

Role overview A data-focused product team serving colleges and universities is hiring a Product Manager to help drive its predictive solutions suite and the enrollment data ingestion pipelines that feed marketing, analytics, and modeling products. The role sits between data, product strategy, and customer outcomes, partnering closely with engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams. It is well suited to an early-career product manager who wants to grow their craft inside a mission-driven, data-rich business.

Responsibilities - Support the roadmap and backlog for the predictive solutions suite, partnering with engineering and data science on prioritization for model accuracy and usability. - Work with data engineering to define requirements for enrollment data ingestion, including sourcing, validation, transformation, and delivery into downstream systems. - Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications that translate customer and stakeholder needs into buildable work. - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and client success teams to capture how institutions use predictive insights and convert that feedback into product improvements. - Monitor data quality and pipeline health metrics, flagging issues and partnering with engineering on resolution. - Contribute to user research, competitive analysis, agile ceremonies, release notes, and internal or external communications about new capabilities.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Data or Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. - One to two years of experience in product management, business analysis, data analytics, or a closely related role; exposure to higher education, EdTech, or SaaS is a plus. - Comfort working with data, including reading data models, asking informed questions about data quality, and translating technical detail for non-technical audiences. - Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to write clear specs and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. - Curious, detail-oriented mindset with a collaborative, low-ego approach and willingness to iterate based on feedback. - Familiarity with or willingness to learn Agile/Scrum practices, and comfort with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, or BI platforms.
