About this role
Role overview A senior macOS developer is needed to design, build, and maintain native applications while contributing to the evolution of a modern authentication platform. The work blends Swift engineering, identity and security integration, and practical use of AI-assisted development tooling. The role is remote and based in the LATAM region, with advanced English communication required.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain macOS applications and components that meet Apple platform standards. - Build and extend authentication, identity, and API-based capabilities as part of a larger platform effort. - Implement Apple security best practices covering Keychain, certificates, permissions, code signing, and entitlements. - Diagnose and resolve application, authentication, API, and macOS-specific issues in production environments. - Partner with engineering, security, identity, and architecture teams to align technical direction. - Use AI-assisted coding, testing, and debugging tools to accelerate engineering output.
Requirements - Five or more years of professional software development experience. - Strong proficiency in Swift and Xcode for macOS and/or iOS application development. - Working knowledge of SwiftUI, AppKit, and/or UIKit for building user interfaces. - Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and backend services. - Familiarity with authentication protocols including SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and MFA. - Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and Agile methodologies. - Awareness of AI, generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted developer tools.
Nice to have - Experience with Apple security frameworks such as LocalAuthentication, Security.framework, or CryptoKit. - Background supporting enterprise Mac environments with Jamf or Microsoft Intune. - Familiarity with Apple Platform SSO, Passkeys/WebAuthn, PKI, or certificate-based authentication. - Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Zsh. - Prior exposure to energy, oil and gas, or other large enterprise environments.
