Senior iOS Engineer

Role overview

Join a mobile engineering team building native iOS applications that power modern digital banking experiences for community banks and credit unions. The Senior iOS Engineer will lead the design and development of customer-centric features, partner closely with product, design, and backend teams, and help shape the technical direction of the mobile product.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering counterparts to deliver polished, user-centric iOS experiences - Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, with strong attention to performance, scalability, and usability - Architect robust, maintainable solutions that align with long-term product goals and engineering best practices - Contribute to feature planning, technical design discussions, and effort estimation - Diagnose and resolve complex product and performance issues across the iOS codebase - Champion code quality through unit testing, code reviews, continuous refactoring, and modern CI/CD workflows - Mentor junior engineers and help foster a strong, collaborative engineering culture - Stay current with evolving iOS platforms, frameworks, and emerging tooling

Requirements

- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years focused on iOS - Deep proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine - Proven track record designing, building, and shipping high-quality, scalable iOS applications - Strong grasp of software architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, VIPER, and similar) and best practices - Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party libraries - Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and building intuitive user experiences - Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and deliver projects end-to-end - Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and raising team-wide code quality - Background in testing practices including unit testing, UI testing, and TDD - Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows - Track record of ownership and adaptability in high-growth or startup environments - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
