About this role
Role overview A senior macOS development role contributing to a modern authentication and identity platform. The work spans designing, building, and shipping macOS applications and components, with a focus on secure authentication flows and Apple platform best practices.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and components for macOS. - Contribute to the evolution of a modern authentication platform and integrate identity and API-based capabilities. - Apply Apple security best practices across applications running on macOS devices. - Troubleshoot application, authentication, API, and platform-level issues. - Collaborate closely with engineering, security, identity, and architecture teams. - Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, debugging, and overall engineering productivity.
Requirements - 5+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Swift and Xcode. - Hands-on experience building applications for macOS and/or iOS using SwiftUI, AppKit, or UIKit. - Solid grasp of REST APIs and backend service integration. - Working knowledge of authentication technologies such as SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and MFA. - Understanding of Apple security concepts including Keychain, certificates, permissions, code signing, entitlements, and secure credential management. - Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with AI, generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted developer tools. - Advanced English communication skills.
Nice to have - Experience with Apple security frameworks such as LocalAuthentication, Security.framework, or CryptoKit. - Background supporting enterprise Mac environments with Jamf or Microsoft Intune. - Knowledge of Platform SSO, Passkeys/WebAuthn, PKI, or certificate-based authentication. - Python, Bash, or Zsh scripting experience. - Prior work in energy, oil and gas, or other large enterprise environments.
