Senior Integration Engineer (Python)

Role overview The Senior Integration Engineer designs and delivers resilient end-to-end integrations that connect internal platforms with third-party systems. This is a hands-on, remote engineering role focused on API-driven and event-driven data movement, where the engineer partners across product and external teams to keep integrations reliable at scale.

Responsibilities - Design synchronization strategies spanning batch, event-driven, and real-time patterns to move data between systems. - Define and evolve API contracts, data mappings, and transformation logic, including versioning and backward compatibility. - Build integrations with idempotency, retries, ordering guarantees, and backfill support so pipelines recover cleanly from partial failures. - Consume and publish REST APIs and webhooks while collaborating with internal engineering teams and external partners. - Maintain data quality and consistency using SQL and PostgreSQL, and implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and broader observability practices. - Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality across the integration surface.

Requirements - Five or more years of professional experience as a software engineer or integration engineer. - Strong Python skills; familiarity with Django is a plus. - Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs and webhooks. - Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills for data-quality and consistency work. - Practical experience with event-driven architectures and batch processing. - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or comparable products. - Advanced or fluent English, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.

Nice to have - Experience building developer platforms or public APIs. - Background integrating CRM, RMS, or PMS platforms. - Familiarity with Accounts Receivable, financial reconciliation, or accounting systems. - Domain exposure in PropTech, multifamily, or property management. - Experience working with distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
