Senior AI Deployment Manager, Finance

Role overview Lead client work that applies AI to accounting and finance operations, from early discovery through implementation planning, testing, and outcome review. You will turn ambiguous process needs into clear delivery plans, working closely with engineers while using finance expertise to judge where AI, conventional automation, or human review best fits.

Responsibilities - Run discovery with finance teams to map processes, systems, data, controls, exceptions, and operational pain points, especially across order-to-cash, month-end close, and procure-to-pay. - Assess process value and feasibility, identifying suitable AI opportunities and steps that need conventional automation or human judgment. - Translate findings into product requirements, prioritized MVP scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and a practical work plan for engineering. - Own delivery milestones, client decisions, risks, handoffs, testing, and status; keep business needs aligned with technical decisions. - Review workflow results against agreed test cases, identify failure modes, and explain limitations, review needs, and operational handoffs to client teams. - Support scoping, coach teammates where assigned, and capture reusable discovery and delivery practices.

Requirements - Substantial experience in finance transformation, program finance, corporate finance, or a related field. - Practical knowledge of at least one of order-to-cash, month-end close, or procure-to-pay; AP/AR, invoicing, ERP, or finance systems experience is relevant. - Experience implementing AI-supported workflows in real work, beyond casual use of AI tools. - Ability to lead client discovery and delivery, structure ambiguous problems, and carry work through measurable review. - Skill translating finance process needs into implementation considerations and partnering effectively with engineers. - Working understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including human review and operational risk; strong communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have Finance transformation consulting or professional-services delivery; FP&A or analytical work; controller, CPA, or accounting operations experience; ERP implementation, finance automation, or finance AI product experience; or work in a private-equity-backed organization.
