Sr Manager, Systems Integration Consulting

Role overview

A Senior Managing Architect position within a Center of Excellence focused on scaling deep platform expertise across a customer success organization. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management, owning mission-critical topics such as logs, security, cloud, Kubernetes, developer observability, business analytics, and digital experience management.

Responsibilities

- Own one or more mission-critical technical topics end-to-end, producing the deliverables and reference assets needed to scale that expertise across the wider organization - Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert while formally leading a team of architects and consultants - Develop, document, and promote reference architectures, solution methodologies, and governance frameworks for field teams - Lead or support customer engagements and pilots, translating outcomes into verified best practices - Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies, partnering with product, research, sales engineering, and field stakeholders - Manage direct reports, deliberately growing technical depth so expertise does not depend on one individual

Requirements

- 5+ years working as a consultant or architect on highly technical, agile teams - 2+ years leading technical people with accountability for the output and development of others - Hands-on experience with modern IaaS, PaaS, container, and serverless technologies, and with cloud-native application design - Familiarity with deployment automation, scripting, and modern software engineering processes - Strong written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences - Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a matrixed environment - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience - Willingness to travel up to 25% (not a traveling role by default)
