Role overview
A senior product leadership role is available within a global data and analytics organization building a scalable, AI-ready, self-service data ecosystem. The Lead Data Product Owner will own a portfolio of Finance-domain data products—serving FP&A, Accounting, and Procurement—and be accountable for keeping these shared assets trusted, adopted, and continuously maturing.
Responsibilities
- Own the Finance data product portfolio end to end, including reliability, value delivery, and adoption. - Lead projects that advance Finance's data maturity from problem definition through rollout. - Shape and prioritize the Finance data product roadmap based on adoption and business value. - Partner with an analytics engineering squad to influence data mart design, metric definitions, and reporting requirements. - Draft and structure requirements from Finance stakeholders rather than just collecting them, translating business problems into buildable specs. - Oversee data quality, SLAs, and governance against SOX, ASC 606, and external audit standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record working in a strategic product ownership capacity. - Strong ability to influence how work gets done, earning trust from Finance leaders and credibility with technical teams. - Finance domain knowledge. - Comfort defining auditable data flows with traceability and lineage for audit and executive reporting. - Experience navigating design tradeoffs across architecture, metrics, and reporting.

- Experience aligning with peer data product owners across G&A and GTM domains and driving data literacy.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-eligible position; candidates within a 45-mile radius of Boston, MA; Denver, CO; or Detroit, MI work hybrid (two days per week in office). - Targeted base pay range of $135,000–$165,000, plus health, dental, life, short- and long-term disability coverage, 401(k) with company match, and PTO; total compensation varies with experience, education, and location.
