Job details
About this role
Role overview
A senior product leadership seat is opening within a global data and analytics organization that is scaling a self-service, AI-ready data ecosystem. The Lead Data Product Owner will own a portfolio of customer-domain data products—spanning Customer Success, Support, and Product, with secondary reach into Sales—and be responsible for keeping these shared assets trusted, widely adopted, and continuously maturing.
Responsibilities
- Own the customer-domain data product portfolio end to end, including reliability, value delivery, and adoption. - Independently drive projects that raise the domain's data maturity, from problem framing through rollout. - Shape and prioritize the customer data product roadmap based on adoption signals and business impact. - Partner with an analytics engineering squad to influence data mart design, metric definitions, and reporting requirements. - Draft and structure stakeholder requirements rather than just collecting them, translating business problems into buildable specs. - Oversee data quality, SLAs, governance, and customer-data privacy, including PII handling where relevant.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record working in a strategic product ownership capacity. - Strong ability to influence how work gets done, earning trust from business leaders and credibility with technical teams. - Customer, product, or go-to-market domain knowledge. - Comfort operating across business stakeholders and engineering teams, balancing strategic guidance with execution. - Experience shaping data mart architecture and metric standards.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with aligning data definitions across shared go-to-market assets and ensuring outputs are consumable by Sales. - Experience partnering with peer data product owners across G&A and GTM domains.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-eligible position. - Targeted base pay range of $135,000–$165,000, plus health, dental, life, short- and long-term disability coverage, 401(k) with company match, and PTO; total compensation varies with experience, education, and location.
