Product Designer

Role overview An AI-powered operating system for residential lettings is hiring a hands-on product designer to shape experiences across its full product suite. The platform manages a large portfolio of rental properties and serves multiple user types — tenants, landlords, maintenance contractors, and internal agents. The role covers both customer-facing portals and data-dense, workflow-heavy back-office tools, and offers the chance to help build foundational design practices at an early-stage, product-led company.

Responsibilities - Conduct user research across all personas and turn qualitative and quantitative insights into clear design decisions. - Design end-to-end flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UIs for tenant and landlord portals and internal operational tools. - Bring consistency and quality across tenant-finding, property management, payments, CRM, and communications products. - Partner with product managers and engineers to balance craft with speed and technical feasibility, iterating after launch. - Establish and maintain a shared design system, component library, and reusable patterns from the ground up. - Introduce lightweight design workflows, documentation, and review or handoff practices suited to a small, fast-moving team.

Requirements - Strong product design background with a portfolio spanning complex operational tools and consumer-facing products. - Solid interaction and visual design skills, systems thinking, and exceptional attention to detail when designing for complexity. - Comfort working in early-stage, low-structure environments as well as more structured, product-led settings. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product and engineering. - Ability to prototype and ship designs quickly and independently using AI-assisted tools.

Nice to have - Experience designing operational, back-office, or B2B tools in tech-enabled or operational businesses. - Experience building or contributing to a design system from scratch. - Strong sense of ownership, a "get things done" attitude, and sharp attention to detail.
