Principal Security Engineer

Role overview Provide senior technical leadership for security across a financial services platform and its corporate systems. This hands-on role combines security architecture with engineering delivery: you’ll build controls and operational capabilities that protect data and services while supporting reliability, performance, and regulatory needs. You’ll partner with engineering, IT, risk, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities - Set reusable security patterns and automated guardrails, and lead complex initiatives from design through deployment and ongoing maintenance. - Secure cloud, network, and colocated environments through least-privilege access, workload identity, segmentation, encryption, and controlled data access. - Strengthen endpoint, identity, and privileged-access protections across employee devices and business applications. - Integrate threat modeling, API and application security, container protections, and security checks into development and delivery workflows. - Automate vulnerability discovery and remediation workflows across code, dependencies, containers, and infrastructure. - Build and maintain security operations platforms, while mentoring engineers and documenting designs and runbooks.
