Senior Product Engineer / Product Owner

Role overview Connect customer needs and product direction with hands-on engineering for a data quality platform. You’ll own features from discovery through delivery while helping build AI agent workflows that turn technical specifications into production code and enable automated data improvement.

Responsibilities - Translate customer needs and product goals into clear technical designs and specifications. - Lead the development of workflows that use AI coding agents to move from specifications to code. - Own the full feature lifecycle, including defining the problem, scope, and implementation approach. - Design and maintain backend systems that let language models handle complex data quality tasks. - Make product and technical decisions that balance immediate user needs with long-term system growth. - Explain trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and shape product and engineering practices.

Requirements - At least five years of experience delivering production software, with a product-focused approach. - Practical experience writing technical specifications and working with AI agents or agent frameworks. - Strong understanding of databases, data warehouses, or core data systems and modern data stacks. - Ability to make consequential product decisions while considering scalability. - Fluent written and spoken English. - Valid authorization to work in the EU.

Nice to have - Hands-on familiarity with advanced language models and coding agents. - Experience in a fast-moving startup where responsibilities can shift. - Interest in systems that detect and resolve data issues with less manual intervention.
