Senior Software Engineer (Node.js/Python)

Role overview Build and operate backend services and AI-enabled capabilities for an integrated business platform in the electric mobility sector. You’ll help bring Python-based AI tools into production, shape service architecture, and work across engineering and product teams to support customer and employee needs.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain web services and APIs using Python and Node.js. - Operationalize AI engineering tools within backend systems and support their ongoing operation. - Make architecture decisions that balance scalability, performance, and maintainability. - Investigate production issues and resolve them promptly. - Coordinate with AI, product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and external teams to deliver agreed outcomes. - Maintain technical documentation, prioritize your backlog, and contribute to code quality and team learning.

Requirements - At least seven years of experience designing, building, and operating production software. - Strong backend development experience with Python and Node.js or comparable technologies. - Ability to make sound architecture choices and write stable, extensible code. - Experience troubleshooting live systems and working across technical disciplines. - Clear written and spoken English for team communication and documentation. - Collaborative approach, ownership of technical work, and willingness to mentor colleagues.
