Backend Engineer (m/f/d)

Role overview Build backend services for a platform that supports AI workflows from data annotation through model training. The role focuses on designing scalable microservices and keeping them performant, stable, and secure, while helping shape platform architecture and technical direction.

Responsibilities - Design backend architecture and implement services as Python microservices. - Maintain service performance, stability, and security through automated tests and CI/CD practices. - Collaborate with frontend, machine learning, UX, and QA colleagues in Scrum or Kanban teams. - Improve development processes and the technology stack over time. - Contribute to platform architecture and technical decisions.

Requirements - Degree in computer science or a comparable field. - Professional experience building backend services used in production. - Consistent use of software design patterns, testing, and sound engineering practices. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and CI/CD pipelines. - Fluent English.

Nice to have - Experience designing REST APIs with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
