Role overview
Advise key business customers on how to use cloud infrastructure to meet their goals as their organizations grow. The role combines technical architecture guidance, proactive account management, and customer advocacy, with a focus on helping customers solve complex problems, improve their deployments, and get lasting value from the platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and explain infrastructure architectures suited to customer needs, including to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Lead technical consultations and workshops that help customers manage their cloud environments independently. - Review account health and usage, hold regular business reviews, and identify opportunities to improve retention, adoption, performance, and cost efficiency. - Represent customer needs internally and work with engineering and support teams to resolve technical escalations. - Coordinate with sales, marketing, and other teams to align customer priorities with product and business plans. - Create scripts or tools to make technical engagements more efficient, and contribute to documentation and training.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and the wider cloud ecosystem, kept current through ongoing learning and relevant training. - Ability to plan and communicate technical solutions clearly to varied audiences. - Experience building trusted customer relationships and advising organizations through technical challenges and growth. - Ability to assess usage and performance information to identify risks, optimization opportunities, and paths to broader adoption. - Effective collaboration across customer-facing, engineering, and support teams.
