Temporary Application Analyst

Role overview Deliver consulting and implementation support for electronic health record applications used by healthcare providers. The work spans requirements and workflow analysis, application configuration, testing, deployment, optimization, and ongoing support, with assignments delivered remotely or at client sites. The position is temporary and belongs to a healthcare technology consulting practice.

Responsibilities - Plan, design, configure, test, implement, and support EHR application needs across implementation, upgrade, and optimization work. - Gather requirements and analyze clinical or business workflows with cross-functional teams. - Lead or support application testing, training, and go-live activities; resolve workflow and build issues. - Advise client teams on application practices and serve as a subject matter expert in assigned areas. - Support clinical or business users and mentor client IT staff. - Coordinate project work, maintain schedules, and keep relevant application knowledge and certifications current.

Requirements - Five or more years of EHR implementation experience, including design, build, and configuration. - Current certification for the relevant application and good standing with the application vendor. - Knowledge of healthcare provider workflows; clinical or operational healthcare experience is preferred. - Strong communication, analytical, organizational, project coordination, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage competing tasks and deliver work on schedule, independently or while leading others. - Related bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.

Benefits and work setup - Consulting may be performed remotely or onsite at client locations. - The listed pay range is $22.50–$109.20 per hour; actual compensation depends on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, work arrangement, and location.
