Sr. Frontend Engineer - Shopify

Role overview Take ownership of frontend development for a high-traffic online store, leading a broader storefront refresh with an immediate focus on checkout. The role combines hands-on Shopify development with close design and product collaboration, using experimentation and business measures to improve usability, conversion, and performance.

Responsibilities - Lead the redesign and ongoing improvement of the storefront, especially checkout. - Turn design concepts into polished, functional shopping experiences. - Plan and implement A/B tests to guide frontend decisions. - Use performance and business metrics to identify and refine improvements. - Own frontend technical solutions and investigate complex problems using the Shopify app ecosystem. - Coordinate with design, product, and engineering partners on the customer experience.

Requirements - At least four years of Shopify Liquid development experience. - Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs and themes. - Strong JavaScript skills. - Demonstrated experience implementing A/B tests and using results to inform decisions. - Understanding of UX and interface optimization for conversion rate improvement. - Analytical problem-solving skills and the autonomy to lead frontend work. - Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to have - Experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Ruby on Rails, or backend architecture.
