Role overview
Lead the design and delivery of consumer-facing web experiences and the systems used to measure how people find and use them. You’ll guide engineering work across marketing technology, experimentation, attribution, and privacy-aware data collection, partnering with product, design, marketing, analytics, and platform teams.
Responsibilities - Own team goals and help engineers make progress through ambiguous, technically complex work. - Shape feature plans with product, design, and analytics partners, weighing constraints, risks, and trade-offs. - Identify and resolve issues across projects, processes, technology, and business needs. - Monitor service health and operational metrics, escalate issues, and contribute to on-call support. - Set and improve code review and design practices; share technical guidance through writing and talks. - Coach teammates and support their professional growth.
Requirements - At least four years building and architecting web applications with a declarative UI framework such as React or Vue. - Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript. - Practical experience with web instrumentation and marketing systems, such as tag management, analytics, experimentation, conversion tracking, or third-party integrations. - Knowledge of performant, reliable consumer web architecture, including consent, cookies, observability, and data collection. - Ability to plan significant features, write maintainable code, and make changes safely in a large codebase. - Strong written and spoken communication skills, sound ownership, and a record of seeking feedback.
