About this role
Role overview Lead revenue intelligence for a cross-functional go-to-market organization, providing the shared data, forecasts, and analysis that teams and executives use to make commercial decisions. This individual contributor role combines hands-on SQL and BI work with ownership of reporting standards, commercial data checks, and conversations with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Set consistent go-to-market data definitions across sales, marketing, solutions, services, and account teams. - Build dashboards, forecasts, and analysis that connect marketing activity and pipeline to closed revenue; identify where opportunities progress or drop out. - Prepare and validate executive and board-level reporting, including quarterly business reviews and function-specific forecasts. - Assess marketing return and look for early patterns in retention, renewals, and churn; turn findings into clear recommendations. - Validate commercial records, including recurring revenue, new contract value, prorated terms, currency adjustments, quote-to-order alignment, and renewal changes. - Work with engineering to improve warehouse data quality, and develop AI-ready documentation, reporting workflows, and reusable agents.
Requirements - Strong SQL skills and experience building BI dashboards used by sales, marketing, or leadership in recurring decisions. - Experience analyzing revenue pipelines from marketing through closed business, with the ability to explain both what metrics show and their limitations. - Confidence presenting findings to senior leaders and defending the underlying figures when questioned. - Ability to independently lead discussions with sales, marketing, and finance stakeholders. - Skill validating commercial data such as recurring revenue, contract values, currency and term adjustments, and order documentation. - Judgment to assess warehouse data quality, work with engineers to correct problems, and select appropriate reporting tools. - Experience using AI tools to develop or check analysis, document data for AI use, or automate recurring reports.
Nice to have - Translating business requests into technical requirements for system and engineering teams. - Familiarity with SaaS retention measures, revenue recognition, or quote and pricing workflows. - Experience designing AI-ready data structures or building agents for others to use.
