Senior Manager, Visual Design

Role overview Lead a visual design team and steward a consistent, high-quality visual identity across marketing and related touchpoints. The role is primarily focused on creative direction, team development, resourcing, and scalable design operations, with selective hands-on work on high-impact projects and close partnership with go-to-market and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Set the visual standard across channels and provide art direction for the design team’s work. - Manage and develop multiple designers, strengthening their craft, conceptual thinking, and execution. - Build and maintain scalable design systems, campaign frameworks, and governance practices for consistent work across markets. - Oversee creative delivery across marketing channels and major initiatives; lead structured reviews and give actionable feedback. - Plan team capacity and allocate work across internal designers, agencies, freelancers, and contractors. - Partner with go-to-market teams to turn business goals into effective creative, and assess tools including AI-enabled workflows to improve team output.

Requirements - At least eight years of visual design experience, including substantial art direction or senior design leadership experience. - Demonstrated success leading and developing more than two direct reports and raising a team’s creative standard. - Portfolio showing integrated campaigns, strong art direction, and scalable brand systems. - Deep expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma, with work spanning digital, print, performance, events, and campaigns. - Experience in an agency or managing multiple brands, along with ownership of resourcing and external creative partners. - Strong creative judgment, stakeholder collaboration, and operational rigor, including familiarity with digital asset management and governance.

Nice to have Experience building design systems for global markets, motion design or 3D animation, and photo or video production.
