About this role

Role overview A senior leadership role directing spatial data management for a global workplace and real estate advisory practice. The position sets standards and governance for occupancy, utilization, and space data while translating that discipline into measurable business value for enterprise clients. It spans strategy, client advisory, technology partnership, and modernization of methods used across regions.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve spatial data standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for data quality, stewardship, audit readiness, and consistency. - Translate spatial and occupancy data into practical business insights that improve reporting integrity, implementation quality, and decision support. - Partner with technology teams to support workplace platform implementations, re-implementations, and ongoing enablement, translating business needs into data and platform requirements. - Refresh playbooks, methodologies, process maps, and guidance related to space allocation, planning, audits, utilization, and live occupancy. - Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on spatial data integrity and modern space management, connecting occupancy and utilization data to workplace and portfolio decisions. - Identify opportunities to strengthen service delivery, support client growth, and contribute to thought leadership and practice development.

Requirements - Significant experience in spatial data management, workplace data, occupancy data, or related space management disciplines. - Strong experience in data governance, data consistency, stewardship, standards development, and quality control. - Proven ability to apply data discipline through a business lens and connect technical work to client outcomes. - Experience partnering with technology teams on system implementation, platform enablement, or business-to-technology translation. - Strong client-facing communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, including comfort leading direct conversations about process and accountability. - Experience supporting workplace, occupancy, reservation, or IWMS platforms and creating reusable playbooks and standards.

Nice to have - Hands-on experience with major occupancy, reservation, IWMS, or space management platforms. - Background supporting re-implementation or workplace modernization efforts. - Familiarity with evolving technology trends, including how AI may influence workplace workflows and service delivery. - Experience developing thought leadership content, case studies, or practice materials. - Experience supporting global or multi-region clients and service delivery models.

Benefits and work setup The listed compensation range is 144,500 to 170,000 USD. Actual pay varies by location, hours, job type, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
