Role overview The role leads product strategy and delivery for a core search foundation spanning federated, metric, and lakehouse search experiences. It sits at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and field enablement, shaping roadmap priorities for telemetry infrastructure serving large enterprise IT and security teams. The position is remote-first and may require occasional work outside standard hours across multiple time zones.
Responsibilities - Coordinate roadmap priorities across multiple product dimensions with peer product leaders and engineering management, negotiating tradeoffs given available resources - Triage incoming feature requests, bug reports, and project ideas against company strategy and team goals while maintaining a healthy development backlog - Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback, validate use cases, and communicate upcoming capabilities - Maintain team status visibility and report progress to leadership and stakeholders across the organization - Evaluate fiscal cost-benefit and licensing impact of proposed integrations and features - Partner with marketing and customer success to define golden-path use cases and produce enablement materials such as videos, blogs, and talks - Analyze integration effectiveness through product metrics and stakeholder feedback, driving continuous improvement across the offering
Requirements - 5+ years of customer-facing product management experience in observability, metrics, analytics, cybersecurity, big data integrations, or SaaS - Hands-on familiarity with big data or analytics products using query languages such as SQL, KQL, SPL, or equivalent analytics platforms - Experience handling data at terabyte or petabyte scale, including understanding of relevant network protocols and data structures - Working knowledge of Agile development and the Atlassian toolchain, especially Jira and Confluence - Track record delivering and maintaining complex data integration systems that produce measurable business outcomes - Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements - Demonstrated ability to collaborate across sales, product, marketing, solutions engineering, and customer success teams
