Role overview A network detection and response organization is offering a SkillBridge-style internship that helps active-duty service members transition into civilian careers in cybersecurity and technology. Participants gain hands-on exposure across multiple functions while working alongside practitioners who build and operationalize security products. Responsibilities - Contribute to cybersecurity or security engineering work such as network security, threat detection, threat hunting, and incident investigation - Support software engineering teams building software products, cloud services, infrastructure, and automation - Assist professional services and customer engineering staff with deploying, configuring, and integrating security technology for customers - Combine technical knowledge and communication skills in sales engineering, helping security teams evaluate solutions - Partner with customer success and technical account management teams to drive adoption and resolve post-deployment issues - Apply military-honed planning, coordination, and leadership experience within program management or business operations

Requirements - Active-duty service member eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program during the final portion of military service - Demonstrated discipline, leadership, and a sense of mission developed through military experience - Ability to translate operational experience into a civilian technology or cybersecurity context - Interest in one or more listed functional areas, including cybersecurity, software engineering, customer-facing technical roles, sales, or operations - Strong collaboration and communication skills suited to a geographically distributed team environment
