Remote job
Staff Product Manager: Agentic Discovery
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A remote-first opportunity is open for a Staff Product Manager to lead the next chapter of Agentic Discovery within a fast-growing commerce search and discovery platform. The role is high-leverage and high-ambiguity, centered on scaling AI-powered shopping experiences from promising experiments into a repeatable engine while giving business operators the transparency and control they currently rely on in traditional search. Success is measured by real usage and business outcomes rather than shipped features, with a clear trajectory toward chapter-wide leadership across on-site, offsite, and integration surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Drive measurable lift in usage, conversion, revenue, and engagement across the agentic experience portfolio. - Build dashboards and tooling that let business teams see what agents are doing, understand why, and steer outcomes. - Turn one-off agentic experiments into a repeatable launch, measurement, and improvement process that shortens time-to-launch. - Define and own the multi-quarter vision and strategy for the Agentic Discovery chapter, rallying teams behind a shared definition of success. - Lead the business-tooling and dashboard roadmap first, then grow into full chapter ownership across on-site, offsite, and integration experiences. - Partner with machine learning, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to take LLM-powered capabilities from idea to production, balancing quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
Requirements
- Approximately 8+ years of product management experience in AI/ML, agentic, search, or discovery products, including time at the senior or staff level. - Demonstrated track record of moving business metrics at scale and setting strategy across multiple teams. - Experience building for business operators such as merchandisers and category managers, especially tooling, dashboards, and controls. - Strong product depth in AI, machine learning, and LLM-powered experiences, with the ability to reason about quality, latency, cost, and reliability tradeoffs. - Comfort with zero-to-one ambiguity and the discipline to turn experiments into a scalable portfolio. - Measurement-first mindset, cross-functional leadership skills, and an instinct for treating transparency and guardrails as core to success.
Nice to have
- Prior experience introducing a brand-new product category and shaping it into a market-defining area.
Benefits and work setup
- Unlimited vacation time, with a strong recommendation to take at least three weeks per year. - Competitive compensation package including stock options. - Company-sponsored US health coverage fully paid for the employee. - Fully remote work from any location, with a work-from-home stipend for home office setup. - Apple laptops provided for new hires. - Annual training and development budget for every employee. - Parental leave for qualifying employees. - Commitment to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace as an equal opportunity employer.
