About this role

Role overview This senior individual contributor position leads functional and technical work for a NetSuite-centric financial systems landscape. The role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and adjacent teams to translate business goals into scalable processes, reliable data, and compliant controls across the full order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report lifecycle. A major focus is safeguarding close continuity and reducing reliance on external support.

Responsibilities - Partner with Finance and Accounting leaders to define outcomes, clarify requirements, prioritize demand, and link local decisions to upstream and downstream effects. - Lead discovery, current- and future-state mapping, requirements, and functional design across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report flows. - Configure and tune NetSuite roles, permissions, workflows, custom records, saved searches, dashboards, forms, approvals, and SuiteAnalytics. - Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, partnering with developers on SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, integrations, and data migrations. - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, monitoring critical jobs and diagnosing transaction, FX, reconciliation, and reporting issues. - Own functional design of data flows between NetSuite and connected CRM, billing, banking, procurement, tax, payroll, and planning platforms.

Requirements - 7+ years of NetSuite functional and technical experience, including hands-on configuration and solution delivery. - Deep familiarity with order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes and their system-level implications. - Working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, with experience applying revenue recognition through NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management. - Experience partnering with Finance and Accounting stakeholders on requirements, controls, and audit support. - Strong background in integrations, data integrity, and segregation-of-duties design. - Demonstrated ability to lead Tier 2–3 production issue analysis and drive root cause to durable fixes.

Nice to have - Experience using AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation within Finance with defined controls and governance. - Background at a global, publicly traded, SaaS, or technology organization. - Familiarity with connected platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora, procurement tools, banking integrations, and financial planning or reporting solutions.
