Role overview

This role leads Professional Services delivery for U.S. federal public sector clients, focusing on data governance, data management, and data quality solutions. The position partners with sales, engineering, product, support, and executive teams to design and execute engagements that meet government standards. The mission is to help agencies realize value quickly while driving adoption, expansion, and renewal.

Responsibilities

- Support federal engagements with mission-aligned architecture and delivery that conforms to delivery models, methodologies, and compliance standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and GovCloud - Provide agencies with tailored data governance strategies, knowledge transfer, and measurable outcomes - Partner across sales, customer engineering, product, support, and executive teams to align with federal acquisition cycles and stakeholder priorities - Identify expansion opportunities by mapping product capabilities to agency mandates, modernization, and compliance needs - Meet utilization goals tied to client success and repeatable delivery excellence - Contribute to growth of public sector services and licensing through account expansion, planning, and customer advocacy

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of consulting experience supporting U.S. federal agencies in data governance, data management, or data quality - Familiarity with leading PaaS providers, data lakes, databases, and integration platforms common in federal environments - At least 2 years working with cloud platforms, REST/JSON APIs, and deployment automation - Linux command-line proficiency and hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, and infrastructure or platform tooling - Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop, and enterprise security tools like LDAP or Kerberos - Hands-on work with data quality, pipelines, orchestration, or job control tooling, plus knowledge of two or more areas such as governance, stewardship, master data management, cataloging, or business rules - Proficiency with Java, Python, or similar scripting for custom implementations in Linux or Unix - Background in data warehousing, ETL, or data integration, and comfort developing functional and technical specifications - U.S. citizenship, residence on U.S. soil, and active security clearance (Secret, TS, or TS-SCI) are required

Nice to have

- Located in the Washington, D.C. metro area with ability to be on-site up to 50% of the time - Experience with comparable data governance or catalog platforms
