Senior Frontend Engineer (React)
Job details
About this role
Role overview Build the frontend dashboards that help network operators understand live telemetry and monitoring data across large, distributed infrastructure. The work sits within an observability product team: its tools discover network assets, identify differences between intended and actual network states, manage data-collecting agents and process incoming telemetry. The team uses AI coding tools as part of its everyday development workflow.
Responsibilities - Develop real-time monitoring and telemetry dashboards in React for complex network data. - Build interfaces that help operators inspect network state and spot changes or issues. - Work with product and engineering colleagues on observability capabilities and their underlying data flows. - Use AI coding tools in day-to-day development. - Contribute to a frontend codebase using TypeScript, API contracts, data fetching and testing tools.
Requirements - Strong experience with React and TypeScript or JavaScript frontend development. - Familiarity with modern state management and data fetching, such as Zustand, TanStack Query or Context API. - Experience with frontend testing, including unit tests and end-to-end tests. - Understanding of frontend and backend contracts, ideally using OpenAPI, plus REST or gRPC APIs. - Hands-on use of AI coding tools; knowledge of SaaS or infrastructure products and networking observability is relevant. - English proficiency at C1 level or higher and availability for some working-hour overlap with the US East Coast.
Nice to have - Data visualization experience with tools such as Recharts or D3. - Familiarity with Grafana, OAuth2 or OIDC, and role-based access control. - Experience with TailwindCSS, PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD, accessibility or observability instrumentation.
Benefits and work setup - Flexible choice of remote, office or hybrid work and working hours. - Training sessions, a training budget, hands-on onboarding and the option to move to another project.
