Senior Frontend Engineer

Role overview Own frontend architecture and delivery for complex web applications, shaping reusable components, state management, and engineering practices. This senior individual contributor role combines hands-on feature development with technical guidance and mentorship for less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities - Design scalable React and TypeScript architecture, component patterns, and state management strategies. - Lead features from requirements and design through implementation, release, and validation. - Improve performance, accessibility, SEO, and the Vite build pipeline. - Guide architectural reviews, uphold clean coding practices, and provide actionable feedback. - Work with cross-functional teams to identify and reduce technical debt. - Mentor junior and intermediate engineers through pairing, documentation, and technical guidance.

Requirements - At least five years of frontend development experience in Agile teams. - Strong React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern build tooling skills, including Vite. - Knowledge of browser behavior, web performance, CI/CD, and Git workflows. - Experience owning the architecture of complex, large-scale React applications. - Ability to turn loosely defined needs into sound technical solutions with autonomy. - Advanced written and spoken English for discussing technical tradeoffs with international stakeholders.

Nice to have - Experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js or Remix. - Familiarity with micro-frontends and monorepo tools such as Turborepo or Nx. - Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development or frontend integrations for retrieval-augmented generation applications.
