About this role
Role overview
Own the strategy and delivery of an enterprise product area that coordinates supply chain work across companies and software systems. You’ll investigate where order, fulfillment, shipment, and partner workflows fail, then guide solutions from discovery through launch and adoption. This is a senior individual contributor position with technical depth, cross-functional influence, and responsibility for measurable customer and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Set the product direction and roadmap, balancing customer problems, business value, and platform fit. - Work with operations users and business leaders to identify workflow gaps and distinguish reusable capabilities from customer-specific needs. - Define and track outcomes such as order cycle time, delivery reliability, exception resolution, manual effort, and partner onboarding speed. - Specify workflows and integrations across enterprise resource planning, warehouse, transport, and partner systems, including APIs, EDI, and business events. - Partner with engineering and architecture on data, security, reliability, monitoring, and implementation tradeoffs; turn plans into requirements, prototypes, acceptance criteria, and phased releases. - Identify suitable AI applications, define evaluation and human review practices, and measure reliability, adoption, cost, and operational impact.
Requirements
- At least five years in product management, including substantial ownership of an enterprise or B2B software product area. - Practical supply chain expertise in areas such as order-to-cash, fulfillment, shipment execution, or partner collaboration, with knowledge of users, exceptions, and performance measures. - Evidence of taking products from discovery through launch and adoption, with measurable results. - Strong technical understanding of APIs, EDI, enterprise integrations, data models, and SaaS architecture. - Working knowledge of AI capabilities and limitations, including language models and agent-based workflows, and experience defining appropriate evaluations with technical teams. - Sound prioritization, executive communication, and influence skills; a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
Experience with manufacturing, distribution, retail, or logistics customers; common EDI standards or ERP, warehouse, and transport platforms; B2B integration software; shipped AI features; enterprise AI controls; or a relevant supply chain certification.
Benefits and work setup
The role includes 10–15% travel for customer and partner visits, industry events, and team planning. The stated base salary is $130,000–$150,000, with an annual bonus opportunity. The position offers exposure to senior leaders and customers, and the opportunity to shape an AI product roadmap.
