Role overview
Own the Supplier Management product area for a B2B procurement platform, from customer discovery and roadmap decisions through launch and ongoing improvement. The work spans supplier discovery and evaluation, contracts, purchasing workflows, and integrations, with opportunities to apply AI to practical procurement problems.
Responsibilities
- Set product direction, roadmap, and priorities for supplier management. - Research customer needs through interviews, feedback, market research, and data analysis; turn findings into clear requirements. - Partner with engineering, design, customer success, and other teams to deliver useful features. - Measure adoption and business impact after launch, then use results to guide improvements. - Improve workflows for supplier recommendations, catalogs and reliability, contract management, supplier integrations, marketplaces, and purchase order automation.
Requirements
- At least three years of product management experience in a product company; five or more years is an advantage. - Experience with B2B SaaS and an understanding of business purchasing workflows and customer needs. - Record of delivering substantial features from discovery and planning through launch, adoption measurement, and iteration. - Strong product judgment, including the ability to identify underlying problems, prioritize competing needs, and make decisions amid ambiguity. - Data-informed approach, including defining success measures and evaluating performance. - English at B1+ level, preferably B2, for communication with customers and supplier representatives.
Nice to have
Experience with AI product features or everyday AI tools, procurement, supplier management, marketplaces, contract workflows, third-party integrations, or complex B2B processes. AI expertise is not required.
