Role overview
A senior individual contributor opportunity joining a newly forming team focused on systems-of-systems engineering for a national security mission. The role centers on building and operationalizing capabilities at the intersection of data engineering, software platforms, and mission-critical workflows for Intelligence Community and Department of Defense partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex systems-of-systems spanning R&D through fully deployable platforms. - Apply deep expertise in social media persona generation and management to deliver operational capabilities. - Transition prototype capabilities from research into production-grade, deployable, secure platforms. - Influence stakeholders across functions on policies, practices, and approaches, including technical or professional guidance to peers. - Drive significant initiatives or improvements to processes, systems, services, or analytical frameworks with major impact. - Apply modern software and data engineering practices, including CI/CD and secure DevSecOps, within mission-driven environments.
Requirements
- University degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. - Demonstrated specialty or deep expertise within a discipline, applying expertise to achieve strategic or operational objectives. - Experience leading significant initiatives, conducting technical reviews, and guiding other professionals. - Strong systems-of-systems engineering background with an ability to operate at strategic and operational levels.
