Role overview
This remote, full-time position is aimed at early-career Python engineers who want to build the backbone of a data and analytics platform. The work centers on APIs, data services, workflow execution, schema logic, reporting, and platform integrations. Fresh graduates with substantial backend project experience are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Develop FastAPI services and backend logic for analytics, schemas, reports, and workflows. - Work on integrations with databases, queues, storage, and processing systems. - Improve reliability, validation, performance, and backend maintainability. - Support product features that require query execution, metadata handling, and automation. - Write clean backend code with proper validation, error handling, and debugging discipline.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience, or strong fresher backend projects in Python. - Strong Python fundamentals with understanding of APIs, SQL, async programming, and data modeling. - Comfort learning tools like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Redis, Celery, and PostgreSQL. - Ability to reason about backend tradeoffs around performance and correctness. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent backend project experience.
Nice to have
- Exposure to data products, analytics systems, workflow engines, or backend automation. - Experience with Docker, background jobs, cloud services, or query-heavy applications. - Internships, backend projects, or open-source contributions that demonstrate execution depth.
