Senior Backend Engineer

Role overview Design and build the backend systems powering an organizational intelligence platform that ingests signals from across the modern software stack. The work centers on real-time data pipelines, a workflow intelligence engine, and the API layer that ties integrations from tools like Slack, Jira, Notion, and HubSpot into a single, coherent product.

Responsibilities - Build distributed services that ingest, process, and act on signals from thousands of third-party integration points. - Design real-time data pipelines and the core workflow intelligence engine behind the platform. - Develop and evolve the public and internal API layer that connects products and integrations. - Tackle ambiguous problems such as pattern detection in noisy organizational data and learning systems that operate safely in production. - Collaborate with product, frontend, and ML teams to ship end-to-end capabilities.

Requirements - 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience. - Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, data modeling, and API design. - Production-scale experience with at least one of Go, Rust, or Python. - Genuine interest in organizational intelligence, coordination patterns, or workflow analytics. - Based in European time zones (CET ±3h) with the right to work in the EU or UK.
