[Job - 31975] Senior .NET Developer, Colombia

Role overview Build and evolve complex back-end services and integrations on the .NET stack for a distributed, multicultural engineering organization. The role focuses on production-grade SOAP and REST APIs, database-driven services, and engineering standards across teams located in multiple countries. All day-to-day communication happens in English.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server. - Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs with proper versioning, security, and best-practice standards. - Maintain service reliability through unit and integration tests, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis. - Collaborate on integrations across multiple systems and apply appropriate software design patterns. - Conduct code reviews, share technical feedback, and mentor junior engineers. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment quality improvements.

Requirements - Strong, production-level experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core. - Solid background in back-end development with C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server, including database design and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services. - Proficiency with XML processing, software engineering design patterns, and best practices. - Experience with unit and integration testing and debugging for service reliability. - Advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills for multicultural, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have - Experience with Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform. - Familiarity with specification-driven or agentic development approaches. - Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
