About this role

Role overview A senior design role within a complex, regulated, and data-intensive software platform serving the insurance and adjacent industries. The position calls for a designer who can operate confidently in ambiguity, take initiative, and treat AI as a collaborator to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and synthesis across an interconnected product ecosystem.

Responsibilities - Own end-to-end user experiences within a business vertical or product portfolio, partnering with product, engineering, research, and data to convert ambiguity into scalable solutions - Design and evolve complex workflows that serve diverse personas while weighing ecosystem-level impact - Partner cross-functionally to define the right problems, surface opportunity areas, and deliver scalable design solutions - Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate ideation, testing, prototyping, and insight generation while maintaining coherence across the broader system - Facilitate workshops and working sessions that surface insights and move teams toward clear outcomes - Present and advocate for design decisions to cross-functional partners and executive leadership

Requirements - 7+ years of experience designing in complex or regulated domains such as fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or enterprise SaaS - Proven ability to design thoughtful end-to-end workflows that solve complex problems - Strong grounding in user-centered design and systems thinking - Comfort engaging directly with users and customers to uncover insights and iterate quickly - Demonstrated use of modern design tools alongside AI to amplify the design workflow - Strong communication and storytelling skills, plus a portfolio or website link (password if needed) included with the resume - Educational background in design, psychology, applied anthropology, sociology, innovation, or equivalent relevant experience - Case studies demonstrating thought process and measurable outcomes across multiple projects

Nice to have - Prior experience operating in insurance technology, claims, or repair workflows is highly relevant given the platform context

Benefits and work setup - Salary range of $119,030 to $150,000, with eligibility for annual incentive plan and performance bonus - 401K with company match, paid time off, and stock purchase plan options - Comprehensive health insurance, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and employee resource groups
