Senior Platform Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain an internal platform that uses automation and generative AI to improve how teams work. This hands-on engineering role spans backend services, cloud infrastructure, AI-enabled capabilities, and user interfaces, with close collaboration across the organization to turn operational needs into practical tools.

Responsibilities - Develop backend services using Python and Terraform. - Build generative AI and agent capabilities, including retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, and evaluation workflows. - Contribute to web interfaces built with React and Vite. - Deploy, operate, and improve cloud-native applications with attention to reliability, performance, and scale. - Work with engineers and internal stakeholders to automate repetitive work and improve processes. - Enhance platform services in line with user needs and sound engineering practices.

Requirements - Practical experience building at least one AI-powered feature or application end to end, with familiarity with the AI development lifecycle. - Proficiency in Python for backend development. - Experience deploying and managing cloud-native services. - Frontend development experience, particularly with React and Vite.

Nice to have Experience integrating AI or machine learning models and working with platforms such as AWS Bedrock; familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing; Rust experience; or knowledge of process improvement and business operations.
