Job details
About this role
Role overview Lead architecture and delivery for complex enterprise software engagements, shaping AI-enabled applications from discovery through production. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will guide engineering teams, make high-impact technical decisions, and help client leaders navigate ambiguity, scale, and competing priorities.
Responsibilities - Run discovery with business and technical stakeholders, turning needs and constraints into clear requirements and a workable backlog. - Set and document application architecture, including integration choices and decisions involving legacy systems; explain designs to engineers and client leadership. - Lead teams building production-ready software, contributing directly to implementation and creating automated, AI-driven testing practices. - Coach engineers and fellow technical leaders, and surface delivery risks or technical obstacles early. - Act as a senior escalation point, communicate progress and risks to client leadership, and support scope discussions and presentations for prospective engagements.
Requirements - Demonstrated ability to lead complex software delivery and make architectural decisions amid unclear requirements and multiple stakeholders. - Strong client communication skills, including presenting recommendations and addressing questions from senior leaders. - Experience with large-scale modernization or legacy migration and enterprise governance processes such as security reviews or change approvals. - Familiarity with UX/UI, LLMs, generative AI, automated testing, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code. - Ability to contribute hands-on while mentoring others and coordinating engineering, project, and business teams. - A computing-related degree is listed as preferred.
Benefits and work setup Fully remote, with travel of up to 25% depending on business needs. Benefits include flexible paid time off, holidays, professional development and learning stipends, paid certification exams, equipment support, and peer recognition awards. Current authorization to work in the role’s location is required; visa or work permit sponsorship is unavailable.
