Role overview This leadership role directs a team of Cloud Engineers responsible for infrastructure governance, risk, and compliance across multi-cloud environments. It expands the governance program from posture management and firewall monitoring into broader security policy enforcement, vulnerability management, data security, application security, and audit readiness.
Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and grow the Cloud Engineering team while expanding governance beyond CSPM and firewall rule monitoring into vulnerability, data, and application security. - Govern firewall rule policies and the rule certification program, ensuring alignment with network standards and timely remediation of non-compliance. - Oversee continuous CSPM and cloud-native security monitoring, alerting, and audit reporting across GCP, Azure, and AWS. - Drive SOX server quarterly certifications and orchestrate remediation campaigns through ServiceNow and GRC platforms. - Build governance metrics including monthly KPI/KRI reports and quarterly Reports of Compliance for executive leadership. - Support regulatory audits such as FDA and HITRUST and lead M&A security onboarding to integrate newly acquired entities into the governance platform.
Requirements - 4–6 years of progressive experience in security compliance governance, cloud security engineering, or technical risk management. - Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or technically directing engineering professionals. - Extensive hands-on knowledge of GCP, Azure, and AWS multi-cloud environments. - Working knowledge of NIST CSF and regulations including HIPAA, HITRUST, SOX, and GDPR. - Experience with GRC platforms, ServiceNow, and cloud-native tools such as Prisma, Wiz, Sentinel, or comparable CSPMs. - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
Benefits and work setup The posted salary range is $125,300–$178,900, with eligibility for a bonus.
