Solutions Architect

Role overview Lead technical pre-sales strategy for complex enterprise opportunities across the Benelux region. The role combines customer discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and value-based communication, while advising sales teams and partners throughout the buying process. It is field-based, with regular customer visits and substantial regional travel.

Responsibilities - Own the technical approach for pre-sales engagements, from planning meetings and shaping presentations to following up with customers. - Lead discovery sessions to understand business challenges, technical environments, and requirements; recommend solutions and define scope, success measures, and timelines. - Deliver tailored product demonstrations, webinars, workshops, and presentations for customer and partner audiences. - Design and run complex proofs of concept or value, including multi-product scenarios and integrations. - Advise account teams and channel partners on solution fit, and explain technical capabilities in terms of customer outcomes. - Support knowledge sharing, team enablement, and customer handover after deployment.

Requirements - Four or more years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, architecture, or technology consulting, including dedicated pre-sales experience. - Strong technical, consultative selling, and customer communication skills; able to lead executive discussions and detailed technical workshops. - Fluency in English and either Flemish or Dutch, with strong written, spoken, and presentation skills. - Hands-on experience in one or more areas such as observability, IT service management, database management and performance, networking, or security solutions. - Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies and the ability to assess complex customer environments. - Self-directed approach, analytical troubleshooting skills, and ability to learn complex software products quickly.

Nice to have - Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and modern infrastructure. - Experience with enterprise or public-sector customers in the Benelux, RFI/RFP processes, or the observability and IT management market. - Relevant technical certifications and experience mentoring colleagues.
