Senior Technical Advisor

Role overview Provide an independent technical review of a response to a request for quotation, helping ensure the proposed solution is clearly scoped, practical to implement, and based on sound assumptions. This is a short-term advisory engagement with a fixed scope and rapid turnaround, focused on assessment and recommendations rather than software development.

Responsibilities - Review proposal materials and assess whether the technical approach is precise, feasible, and appropriately scoped. - Identify unclear requirements, assumptions, and implementation dependencies. - Recommend changes to the proposed architecture or delivery approach. - Explain the conditions that need to be in place for successful implementation. - Provide written feedback, with optional redline comments on technical proposal sections. - Participate in a kickoff, review session, working discussion, and preparation of a final recommendations memo.

Requirements - Senior-level experience as a full-stack engineer, solutions architect, or technical lead. - Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into implementable scope. - Experience with authenticated web applications, administration tools, and role-based systems. - Familiarity with data ingestion, validation workflows, or reporting systems. - Strong written communication and the ability to provide clear, constructive proposal feedback. - Ability to challenge assumptions while keeping recommendations appropriately simple.
