Senior Software Engineer - Digital Workplace

Role overview Create internal software and data tools that help teams understand workforce and business operations. The work spans backend services, user interfaces, analytics, visualisations, and applied language-model features, with an emphasis on owning delivery from specifications through production.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver internal platforms and intuitive user interfaces. - Build Go services and APIs that connect data from multiple sources. - Develop data models and architectures for connected systems. - Turn operational data into clear dashboards and visualisations. - Add language-model features to everyday workflows where they are useful. - Write specifications, estimate work, and deliver against agreed requirements. - Maintain high standards for testing, security, performance, accessibility, reviews, and documentation. - Work with non-technical partners, mentor engineers, and improve team practices.

Requirements - Deep expertise in at least two areas: Go backend services, modern frontend development, data engineering and analytics, data visualisation, or production machine learning and language-model applications. - Care for testing, security, performance, and accessibility throughout development. - Ability to handle sensitive people data responsibly. - Clear written communication and effectiveness in a distributed team. - Ownership of work from initial specification to production, with a consistent and analytical approach.

Nice to have - Experience with Python, Go, React, Svelte, PostgreSQL, or Kubernetes. - Experience building tools for people operations, finance, or business operations.
