About this role
Role overview Develop frontend features and shared components for web applications, taking them from product needs through implementation and refinement. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend colleagues, using either React or Angular and AI-assisted tools to build responsive, maintainable experiences and improve how the engineering team works.
Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and scale frontend applications and reusable component libraries with React or Angular. - Turn product requirements and design work into clear, user-focused interfaces. - Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, refactoring, and routine tasks. - Measure and improve performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and browsers. - Write modular, tested TypeScript and contribute to frontend build and delivery pipelines. - Collaborate across disciplines and take ownership of features through delivery.
Requirements - At least five years of commercial software development experience. - At least three years of hands-on experience with React or Angular. - Strong skills in modern TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. - Product judgment: ability to consider user needs, usability, and the business impact of technical choices. - Strong written and spoken English for explaining technical concepts to colleagues. - Current residence and legal eligibility to work remotely in the Balkans or the Philippines.
Nice to have - Experience with large web applications or engineering organizations of 100 or more people, and with SaaS products. - Familiarity with both React and Angular, or willingness to work across frameworks. - Knowledge of agile practices, CI/CD, automated end-to-end testing, and attention to UI details.
