About this role
Role overview Build and customize online storefronts, creating polished shopping experiences with Shopify and Liquid. The work combines theme development, custom functionality, third party integrations, and attention to store performance and customer experience.
Responsibilities - Customize Shopify themes and develop storefront features with Liquid. - Build custom apps and implement responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Integrate Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and third party services. - Apply e-commerce practices to payment flows and user experience. - Optimize storefront performance and search visibility. - Work with teammates to deliver and improve online stores.
Requirements - Strong Shopify and Liquid experience. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development. - Experience customizing themes and building custom apps. - Knowledge of Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and external integrations. - Understanding of e-commerce, payment gateways, and UX optimization. - Intermediate or upper level English and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Nice to have - Shopify Plus, headless commerce, or progressive web app experience. - Familiarity with cloud hosting, CDN configuration, and e-commerce SEO. - Remote work and agile team experience.
