Founding Product Designer

Role overview Set the product and visual direction for an identity disaster-recovery experience, shaping how it works and how it communicates trust. As the founding designer, you’ll build a consistent design language across the product and its supporting materials, working closely with engineering to bring ideas into users’ hands.

Responsibilities - Create and maintain a design system spanning the product, marketing, documentation, and iOS app. - Design restore previews, readiness scores, and audit packs that communicate status and reliability clearly. - Establish a consistent brand voice and visual vocabulary across comparison pages, emails, and product imagery. - Partner with engineers day to day and contribute to a frequent shipping cadence. - Use writing and interface copy as part of the overall design experience.

Requirements - Senior product design experience in a product-led environment. - Strong systems thinking across typography, motion, information density, and hierarchy. - Clear writing skills and the ability to shape concise, useful product language. - A considered point of view on making security-product interfaces more usable and credible.

Benefits and work setup - San Francisco or remote within the US. - Salary range: $170,000–$240,000, plus 0.5%–1.5% equity.
