Role overview A data engineer role within a cloud-based learning platform that delivers certification, credentialing, test prep, continuing education, and training experiences to training organizations and associations. The platform emphasizes personalization, gamification, data science, and omni-channel delivery, and serves a large and growing learner population. The role supports the data infrastructure that powers those learner-centered capabilities.
Responsibilities - Build and maintain data pipelines supporting personalization, analytics, and product insights. - Partner with analytics and product teams to enable data-driven decision making. - Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability across the learning platform. - Contribute to data modeling and warehousing decisions that support a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
Requirements - Experience building production data pipelines and warehouses. - Proficiency with SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools. - Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and data quality practices. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first setting.
Nice to have - Experience supporting SaaS, learning, or training platforms. - Familiarity with experimentation, analytics, or learner-data use cases.
