About this role
Role overview This producer role supports an engineering systems organization within a gaming studio, keeping development workflows, builds, testing, and engineering systems running smoothly. The position coordinates day-to-day execution across engineering, product, and QA partners, with a strong focus on Agile delivery, release readiness, and cross-team dependency management.
Responsibilities - Facilitate sprint ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, triage, office hours, and retrospectives; manage velocity, capacity, milestones, and delivery commitments. - Create and maintain sprint dashboards, trackers, calendars, and transition checklists; monitor backlog health and escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers. - Build user story stubs, tasks, and bugs in partnership with engineering leads and product managers; maintain accurate work-management documentation and action logs. - Prepare meeting agendas, pre-reads, and status questions; bridge communication across technical teams, creative partners, product stakeholders, and leadership. - Partner with QA on validation plans, test plans, regression tracking, and release dependencies; consolidate changelog feedback and track readiness signals.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of experience in engineering, product management, technical program management, data analysis, product development, or production. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar work-management and collaboration tools. - Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, team velocity, capacity, and milestone delivery. - Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, workstreams, or deliverables across multiple stakeholders. - Strong communication skills bridging technical and non-technical groups, including creative professionals and executive-level stakeholders.
Nice to have - Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent industry background. - Prior Producer or Technical Program Manager experience within a gaming studio. - 4+ years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. - Experience coordinating complex technical initiatives involving engineering, QA, product, and partner teams.
