Product Designer - Administration Experience & Reporting

Role overview

A remote product design role focused on the administration and reporting experience of an identity and password security platform. The designer will shape tools that IT administrators, security teams, and managed service providers use to configure, manage, and audit the product across their organizations.

Responsibilities

- Design Admin Console and Provider Portal experiences for IT administrators and managed service providers - Improve organizational setup, member management, group and collection structure, and access controls - Design policy and configuration flows including single sign-on, user provisioning, and directory sync - Build reports and dashboards that surface credential risk and prompt remediation - Design event logs and activity views that support auditing and investigation - Turn large amounts of data into scannable, filterable, and actionable interfaces - Create flows, prototypes, and production designs within an established design system - Use AI design tools to accelerate research, ideation, and iteration - Collaborate with product teams to explore emerging concepts, including agentic workflows - Run interviews and usability tests with administrators and incorporate customer feedback - Present work in design critiques and to product and engineering partners

Requirements

- 2+ years of product design experience or equivalent - Portfolio showing end-to-end design of digital products - Strong interaction design skills, including sketching, wireframing, and prototyping - Proficiency in Figma and experience working within a component-based design system - Experience designing data-heavy interfaces such as tables, dashboards, reports, or settings pages - Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, V0, or Figma AI in design work, plus prompt-writing ability - Front-end development experience or code prototyping with AI tools - Interest in designing AI features and understanding of the usability and trust issues they can create - Genuine passion for cybersecurity, online privacy, and open source - Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, usable workflows - Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style

Nice to have

- Experience designing B2B or enterprise SaaS products, especially admin consoles - Data visualization and reporting design - Familiarity with identity and access management concepts such as SSO, SCIM, and role-based access control - Experience designing for IT administrators, security teams, or managed service providers - Designing cybersecurity, identity, or privacy products - Designing AI-powered features - Familiarity with Angular component libraries and accessibility guidelines such as WCAG
