About this role
Role overview Join a fully remote customer-facing engineering team supporting an identity and credential security platform used by individuals, developers, and large organizations worldwide. As an Implementation Engineer on the APAC-focused Customer Success team, you will act as a technical subject matter expert guiding enterprise customers through onboarding, deployment, and ongoing optimization. The role blends hands-on systems work with consultative communication across time zones.
Responsibilities - Serve as a subject matter expert for the full product portfolio, supporting pre-sales conversations and post-sale customer engagements - Lead proof-of-concept trials, new deployments, and integrations of containerized services within customer environments - Advise enterprise customers on architecture best practices, integration patterns, and security hardening - Troubleshoot technical issues and proactively identify future-state needs alongside customer teams - Plan, develop, and deliver live technical demonstrations tailored to specific customer use cases - Capture and relay structured customer feedback to Sales, Engineering, and Product colleagues to inform roadmap improvements
Requirements - Excellent written and spoken English with strong grammar and attention to detail - Proven problem-solving ability with the resourcefulness to research and communicate solutions when answers are not immediately known - Demonstrated project planning and time management skills, both collaborative and independent - Prior experience in a technical role such as Systems Engineer, Implementation Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or IT Infrastructure Engineer (equivalent education or demonstrable skills accepted) - Strong empathy and the ability to advocate for customer needs while supporting teammates - Comfort and discipline working remotely, with location in the APAC region
Nice to have - Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and macOS administration - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman container platforms - Working knowledge of identity providers and directories such as Active Directory, LDAP, Azure Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, and Cloudflare - Exposure to cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, TLS/SSL, PKI) - Scripting ability in Bash and PowerShell, plus SQL and RESTful API integration experience - Understanding of SSO standards (SAML, OpenID Connect) and SCIM provisioning
