Senior Data Analyst

Role overview Turn complex data into useful decisions for teams working across credit, payments, and product. This role spans business intelligence, advanced analytics, and analytics engineering: you’ll build reporting assets and analytical models, investigate business questions, and help stakeholders test ideas. The position is remote and involves close collaboration with product, commercial, and technology colleagues.

Responsibilities - Build analytical solutions using SQL, Python, Power BI, and cloud data tools, including Azure Databricks. - Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI definitions, semantic models, and self-service analytics resources. - Apply statistical and machine learning methods such as forecasting, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, and regression to business problems. - Conduct exploratory analysis and ad hoc studies, and support experimentation and hypothesis testing. - Work with cross-functional stakeholders to frame questions, validate findings, and inform decisions. - Maintain data quality, governance, and reliability, using version control, testing, and CI/CD practices; communicate results through clear visualizations and presentations.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field. - Demonstrated experience in analytics, advanced analytics, and business intelligence. - Advanced SQL and strong Power BI skills, including DAX, data modeling, dashboard design, and visualization practices. - Experience with Azure Databricks and Spark technologies, plus proficiency in Python for analysis and analytical development. - Practical knowledge of statistical analysis, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and data-driven problem solving. - Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows, strong stakeholder communication and data storytelling, and fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have Experience in fintech, credit, payments, e-commerce, or digital products is beneficial. Use of AI tools to speed up analytics work is also an advantage; Spanish is a plus.
