About this role
Role overview
Own the roadmap and product decisions for a web application used by clinicians, clinical research sites, and trial teams working with brain health data. You’ll guide development of the next generation of the product, translating user needs and business priorities into plans that engineering, design, and data science teams can deliver. The role is remote, with a preference for candidates near Boston or New York City.
Responsibilities
- Build product knowledge by interviewing and observing clinicians, sleep technicians, site coordinators, investigators, and sponsor teams. - Set quarterly roadmaps and write clear requirements for product development. - Decide which capabilities should serve both diagnostic and clinical trial workflows and where each needs a specialized approach. - Coordinate with engineering, design, data science, and machine learning teams on feasibility, specifications, dependencies, and the presentation of model results. - Run interviews and usability evaluations to improve workflows for clinicians and site staff. - Deliver product changes through regulated design controls, manage stakeholder tradeoffs and risks, and support external product demonstrations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years in product management, including 3 years managing web software products. - Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. - Experience with technically complex products such as data platforms, analytics tools, or machine learning applications. - Experience working across engineering, design, and nontechnical groups while balancing competing priorities. - Ability to communicate product decisions, progress, and risks clearly to users and internal stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Healthcare, life sciences, or biotechnology experience, with the ability to learn clinical workflows quickly. - Experience developing regulated software under design controls, such as medical software or clinical trial systems. - Familiarity designing for clinicians, clinical sites, or other expert users. - Practical use of modern tools, including AI-assisted drafting, analysis, or prototyping.
